Doha, Qatar: His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met in Washington today with His Excellency Jake Sullivan, National Security Adviser to the friendly United States of America.
During the meeting, the strategic relations between the two friendly countries were reviewed, and ways to strengthen and develop them, and the latest developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories were discussed. The meeting also dealt with the necessity of finding a just and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue, and the continued entry of humanitarian aid in a sustainable manner into the Gaza Strip, in addition to the latest developments in the region and ways to reduce escalation.
