DOHA: The Advisory Council held Monday its weekly regular session under the chairmanship of HE the Council's Deputy Speaker Issa bin Rabea Al-Kuwari.
At the outset of the meeting, HE the Secretary-General of the Advisory Council Fahad bin Mubarak Al-Khayareen read the agenda which was then agreed upon.
Then the Council endorsed the minutes of its previous session.
During the session, the Advisory Council took note of a memorandum by the Cabinet General Secretariat on the traffic congestion in Doha City.
The Council also reviewed a draft law amending some provisions of Law No. (26) of 2005 issuing a law regulating tenders and auctions.
The Council decided to refer it to the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee to study it and submit a report thereon to the Council. (QNA)
