Hanoi: Deputy Speaker of the Advisory Council Issa bin Rabia Al Kuwari said yesterday that Qatar was working hard on establishing peace and stability regionally and internationally.
Speaking at the 132nd Inter-Parliamentary Union, Al Kuwari said that Qatar has taken big steps in terms of democracy and building institutions that respect the rule of law, praising Emir
H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani for the role played in this regard.
Al Kuwari stressed in his speech that the Palestinian issue remains the top priority in the Arab and Islamic world. Al Kuwari noted that the Palestinian people have been subjected to horrific Israeli violations, in addition to the political and economic siege enforced on Gaza Strip.
