Doha: Qatar University (QU) students at the College of Business & Economics (CBE) participated in a 4-hour event — “THINK BIG” Workshop and Competition — recently in collaboration with McDonald’s Qatar.
Over 135 students, most of whom were from CBE and the rest from other colleges, took part in the event that was aimed at enhancing skills among the students and encouraging creativity and innovation. The interactive workshops included sessions on creative problem solving, analytical thinking and importance of team spirit and presentation skills, among others.
Students were divided into teams and participated in live examples of problems to which they had to find creative solutions with limited resources and time. The programme laid emphasis on the importance of thinking outside the box and helped instill in them the confidence to overcome challenges and make a strong impact.
