DOHA: State Holding, a Qatar based investor in industrial and real estate sector, is exploring investment opportunities in Fujairah, especially in the construction materials related sectors, as part of the company’s efforts to diversify its investment portfolio, said a statement yesterday.
The company is taking part at the ongoing ‘Third International Forum for Industrial Rocks and Construction Materials Forum and Expo’ being held in Fujairah under patronage of Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of the emirate. The three-day event will conclude tomorrow.
Abdullah Al Shaheen, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of State Holding, said: “Participation at the event is an opportunity for us to play a pivotal role that suits our position as a main investor in vital sectors in the region and in Fujairah in particular. Our goal is to achieve even more diversity in our investment portfolio, via focusing on vital sectors such as construction materials. The Forum is also a unique platform for communicating and exploring investment opportunities in the Emirate.”
