DOHA: A total of 250 students of six Indian schools here have secured the highest grade (Cumulative Grade Points Average (CGPA) 10) in all the five subjects in the CBSE Class X examinations held in March this year.

A total of 1,391 students appeared for the examinations and most schools claimed a cent percent pass.

Unlike the Class X11 examination, the Class X tests were based on a  grading and continuous assessment system, making it impossible for the schools to pinpoint the first few toppers.

The MES Indian School sent the highest number of candidates (603) and the Doha Modern Indian School (DMIS) had the lowest (25).

MES secured cent percent results, with 92 students obtaining A1, with CGPA 10 in all subjects. All the 170 students of the Birla Public School who took the examination qualified for higher studies. Among them 53 students scored  A1 in all the subjects, with  CGPA  of 10.

The DPS Modern Indian School also secured cent percent results, with all the 200 students qualifying for higher studies. Of them, 56 students secured A1 in all subjects, with CGPA 10.

Ideal Indian School also secured hundred percent pass. Of the 301 students who appeared for the examinations, 31 students got CGPA 10 with A1 in all five subjects and 10 students scored A1 in four subjects (CGPA 9.8).

All the 25 students of the Doha Modern Indian School (DMIS) qualified for higher studies, with six students securing CGPA  10 and A1 in all the subjects.

Of the 92 candidates of the Santiniketan Indian School, 12 secured A1 in all subjects with CGPA 10 and 25 students obtained CGPA between 9 and 9.9.
