Doha, Qatar: Birla Public School - Primary II organised the investiture ceremony 2023-24 recently, inducting the newly elected student council members.
The head boy, head girl, house captains, house vice captains and prefects donned the mantle of responsibility, and pledged to take up their duties to the best of their abilities.
School Chairman, Gope Shahani, congratulated all the office bearers and wished them to emerge as successful leaders by working towards their dreams. It was a day imbued with a sense of pride, humility and leadership.
The proceedings of the function commenced with the school prayer by Nelin Nelson Erumala and Aahil Anas, followed by Qatar and India national anthems.
The function continued with an energetic performance by the Primary II school choir under the guidance of Geneikam, spreading the belief that each one of us can reach for the stars with determination and perseverance, if we work together as a team.
Academic Director – Principal, Harish Sanduja, congratulated the young leaders and urged them to be courageous and humble leaders.
The principal administered the oath to all new leaders of the Prefectorial Board. They were invested by various members of the School Leadership Team including Edna Fernandez, Vice-Principal; Vinod Kumar KV, Head of Non Academics; Anu Thomas, Headmistress of Primary 2 and HMs of all sections.
Parents of the Student Council Members also graced the special occasion, with pride as their children were conferred with the badges and sashes.
Florida Nixon and Jismy Joseph were the Masters of Ceremony for the programme. The event culminated with Sports Captain, Stera Kunjappan Ripson proposing the Vote of Thanks.
The Investiture Ceremony at Birla Public School Primary II concluded on a high note, leaving a lasting impression on all those present.
