NEW YORK: US home prices rose in May, suggesting the housing market recovery pushed ahead during the spring buying season, though the pace of gains slowed. Home prices gained 1 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis, according to the S&P/Case Shiller composite index of 20 metropolitan areas.
