Qatar SC yesterday announced that it will play five friendly matches during its pre-season training camp in Slovenia on August 13, 15, 22, 23 and 28.
On their return to the QSL at the end of last football season, Qatar SC has signed a new head coach in Gabriel Calderon, Iranian defender Mohammed Tayebi besides a number of local players including Fahad Khalfan and former Al Arabi defender Ali Jassimi. Last week Qatar SC confirmed the signing of Brazilian midfielder Bruno Gallo on a season-long deal.
Meanwhile, new Al Markhiya coach Youssef Adam yesterday said the club players are busy preparing for the new football season that kicks off in September. The club confirmed a pre-season training camp will be held in Bulgarian capital Sofia.
