DOHA: Ooredoo has announced its first ever Ooredoo Community competition winners, awarding prizes to users who have participated and engaged the most with the online forum.
The Ramadan competition, which ran from June 22 to August 3, was organised to celebrate the launch of Ooredoo Community and encourage its users to get involved with Qatar’s first dedicated online customer support forum.
To participate in the competition, users had to simply post to the forum’s page, by starting threads, answering questions and getting ‘likes’ or ‘kudos’ on their posts from other users who found their content useful.
The Community team has rewarded the most active contributors on the forum, as well as a ‘SuperUser’ — a member who not only received likes but also added value to the community with the most reliable and accurate advice.
Mohamed Rizk, Ooredoo Community SuperUser winner, said: “Thank you Ooredoo! I joined the community on day one, before any contest was announced because I like assisting others. I believe that the Ooredoo Community is the best place for Ooredoo customers to ask questions, because you will always find people who are happy to help you. I’m looking forward to more contests in future, and encourage everyone to get involved in the Community.”
The Community, launched in May 2014, is quickly becoming one of the key places for Ooredoo customers and technology enthusiasts in Qatar to discuss the latest Ooredoo services and devices, as well as other tech-related topics.
Ooredoo Community offers an alternative option to the Ooredoo call centre for customers to ask and answer questions from other users, as well as to talk to Ooredoo staff directly.
Customers can view the Ooredoo Community at community.ooredoo.qa.
