Doha: Papa John’s Pizza organised a blood donation drive on August 29 at Ramada Junction Papa John’s Store as part of its corporate social responsibilities.
This initiative was organised in partnership with the Blood Donor Center of Hamad Medical Corporation, with an aim to support HMC’s nationwide campaign to encourage citizens and residents to become regular blood donors. The blood donation drive was well received with approximately 120 donors, which included the Papa John’s staff and customers, who actively took part while observing regulatory COVID-19 protocols.
“We applaud our employees who spearheaded this initiative and who stepped up to donate their blood and save lives,” said General Manager, Papa John’s Pizza Qatar, Joseph Joseph.
“The blood donation drive is testament to Papa John commitment to Qatar and its communities. We were delighted at the level of participation seen from our staff, whose eagerness to help in the humanitarian cause echoes our company’s values in giving back to the community. At Papa John’s Pizza, we believe such initiatives are not only crucial in raising awareness on the importance of donating blood but also the wide array of health benefits it brings to those who donate,” Joseph added.
