Liwan Residency Exhibition: BU’ED NADHAR by Liwan Design Studios and Labs, for Design Doha Biennial 2026.
Doha: Qatar Museums has released its September 2026 public programme, featuring a wide range of workshops, talks, storytelling sessions, creative courses and family activities across its museums and creative hubs.
The programme spans art, design, photography, calligraphy, heritage, literature and creative learning, catering to children, young people, adults, families and educators. Highlights include Arabic calligraphy courses, drawing and painting workshops, design and fabrication sessions, family activities, artist talks and initiatives reflecting Qatar’s cultural and creative landscape.
As part of the Qatar Creates Fall/Winter season, Qatar Creates Talks continues with free events in collaboration with Fire Station, Tasweer Photo Festival Qatar, Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, Lusail Museum, Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar (VCUarts Qatar) and Georgetown University in Qatar. Trace Through Pattern

A two-day introduction to laser cutting and digital fabrication in which participants use Adobe Illustrator to develop layered acrylic coaster designs inspired by memories, objects, patterns and architectural details from Doha.
Scratched Surfaces
