Doha, Qtaar: Qatar will face Bahrain today in the final of the 11th Asian Youth U19 Handball Championship in Amman, Jordan with the young Al Annabi aiming to cap an unbeaten campaign by lifting the continental title.
Qatar booked their place in the final with a 32-28 victory over Republic of Korea in the semi-finals, while Bahrain secured their place after defeating Iran 26-23.
Qatar maintained a perfect record throughout the tournament, finishing top of Group B with eight points after victories over Saudi Arabia (30-22), Kuwait (30-19), Iran (24-22) and Syria (42-29).
They continued their impressive run in the knockout stage, defeating hosts Jordan 33-13 in the quarter-finals before overcoming South Korea in the last four.
Qatar will now look to complete their campaign with the title, having already secured qualification for the 2027 Junior World Handball Championship for the seventh time in their history.
