DOHA: Qatar and Bahrain yesterday resumed talks on the proposed 40km causeway that would link the two countries and decided to review the project’s cost in the wake of rising prices of construction materials.
The causeway is proposed to be a cable bridge with a four-lane road. In addition, there would be an emergency lane and a pedestrian walkway.
