The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday met Lord Mayor of London, Fiona Woolf, and Alan Yarrow at Mansion House. Talks dealt with means of enhancing relations, particularly economic partnerships. Several members of City of London Corporation, and the Emir’s delegation were also present. Later, the Emir left London after an official visit to the UK. The Emir sent cables of thanks to Queen Elizabeth II and Prime Minister David Cameron, expressing gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality accorded to him and his delegation.
