WASHINGTON: At least four people were killed yesterday when a small plane crashed into a building at an airport in the US state of Kansas, the Wichita Mid-Continent Airport said.
The twin-engine aircraft lost engine power shortly after take-off and crashed into a flight safety building while attempting to return to the runway, the Federal Aviation Administration said.
Four people were killed and four were taken to the hospital, the airport said in a Twitter update. The airport said the safety instruction building that was hit sustained “serious damage, including the collapse of walls and ceilings” AFP
