DOHA: A number of cadet officers attended a workshop on ‘presentation skills for future leaders’ at the Leadership Development Center headquarters at Sailiya, organised in association with College of Policing UK.
Brig Badr Ibrahim Al Ghanim, Director of Technical Office of Minister of Interior, said that the workshop was aimed at developing the skills of future leaders in the fields of presentation skills and build their ability to deliver information to convince others.
He also said that the workshop was intended to make them qualified to allocate the supervisory tasks in the future along with making the national cadres eligible to lead the security tasks in the World Cup 2022 to be hosted by Qatar.
The officers participating in the workshop were scrutinised in order to carry out their roles according to the scientific basics and provide them with the skills, techniques and methods to cope with the modern development of the Ministry of the Interior.
He pointed out that the workshop will contribute a lot to the development of the capabilities of future leaders so that they will be able to deliver their ideas in a way that it would help in decision-making and implementation of strategic projects of the Ministry effectively as one team.
