Doha: The Minister of Labour and Social Affairs H E Dr Abdullah bin Saleh Mubarak Al Khulaifi yesterday met Croatian Ambassador Tomislav Bosnjak and discussed means of enhancing relations and issues of common concern.
Doha: Oman’s Civil Services Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Omar bin Said Al Marhoon yesterday arrived in Doha on a visit. The Minister of Administrative Development H E Dr Issa Saad Al Jafali and other officials welcomed him and his delegation at Hamad International Airport.
Doha: Ahmed Tu’mah, Prime Minister of the interim government of the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces, visited Mal Lawal Biennale exhibition, which continues until February-end at Doha Exhibition Center. He was briefed on the expo which includes a unique showcase of private collections blending heritage and culture.
Mal Lawal (‘From the old days’ in Qatari dialect) is displaying about 4,000 artefacts gathered by over 110 Qatari private collectors and 42 from the GCC.
They include manuscripts, weapons, Islamic collections, old maps, ethnographic and heritage items, antiquities, jewellery, clothing, accessories and other rare items.
