DOHA: Ooredoo is working on restructuring jobs in different administrative verticals, official sources told Al Sharq.
The restructuring aims to improve the performance of the company and its services being provided for customers.
Some positions in some departments have been cancelled as part of restructuring process. Some expatriate employees have been dismissed while some Qatari employees moved to other sections and departments maintaining their positions and ranks.
Sources added that Ooredoo is keen to maintain its employees, especially nationals who have been trained and rehabilitated according to long-term training plans.
The restructuring process had started many years ago and was subject to continuous assessment and evaluation of employees. Accordingly, some employees were awarded higher positions while some were moved to other departments.
