Doha, Qatar: The Civil Service and Government Development Bureau (CGB) has launched the redesigned website of the “Mawared” system, introducing a modernised interface and enhanced digital services aimed at supporting human resources operations across government entities.
The announcement was made in a post published on CGB’s official account on X on December 29, confirming the rollout of the upgraded platform as part of ongoing efforts to advance administrative development and digital transformation in the public sector.
The Mawared system serves as the unified government HR platform, utilised by ministries and public agencies for core employee-related services.
The redesigned website introduces a streamlined structure that provides easier access to services, information, and support channels for employees and HR departments. The Bureau stated that the update is part of a broader strategy to enhance efficiency, reduce paperwork, and improve the experience of government employees using HR e-services.
According to CGB, the new Mawared website features a simplified navigation process, faster access to key functions, and a refreshed visual layout designed to improve clarity and user interaction. The platform brings together services such as personnel records, leave applications, performance evaluation tools, and internal resources, allowing users to complete tasks more efficiently through a single digital gateway.
The Bureau highlighted that the platform enhancements are not limited to appearance alone. The upgraded Mawared system is built to support scalability and future technology integration, enabling the government to introduce additional analytical, reporting, and performance-measurement features over time. This aligns with CGB’s mandate to modernise government administration and support institutional performance improvement frameworks.
The enhanced Mawared platform is expected to play a growing role in supporting workforce planning and talent development across government entities.
