DOHA: Crowne Plaza Doha-The Business Park recently won the Green Hospitality Award for Best Conserving Building in the tourism sector. The award was given by Amlak and Kahramaa as recognition to the hotel that has integrated energy efficiency, resource conservation and air quality to its operations. Steps undertaken by the hotel to ensure energy conservation include use of LED lights in the hotel’s guest rooms, dining outlets, meeting rooms and public areas and 100 percent use of LED in the building’s façade lights. Occupancy sensors are also used in office areas and staircases to minimize energy use.
Crowne Plaza Doha – The Business Park has joined other industry leaders who have demonstrated a willingness to take meaningful steps towards resolving some of the very real issues that face the planet.
