MoI urges immediate reporting of unidentified objects at sea

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) warned the public especially seagoers not to approach, touch or move unidentified objects or debris resulting from interception of missiles or unmanned aerial vehicles found at sea within the State’s territorial waters.

In a statement issued on its official platforms, the ministry stated that such objects or debris must only be handled by competent authorities in accordance with approved procedures.

It further emphasized that such debris may contain hazardous materials that could pose a risk to public safety, urging the public to immediately report by calling 999.
