Doha: Ooredoo announced a new promotion yesterday, which will enable Hala customers to access incredible connectivity to Qatar and the rest of the world at a discounted rate.
New and existing International Saver Key and weekly Mobile Data Pack customers can now take advantage of local calling and SMS rates, at QR0.35 per minute, and QR0.30 per SMS.
Previously, International Saver Key and weekly Mobile Data Pack customers were charged at Ooredoo’s standard local calling rate of QR0.55 per minute, and QR0.40 per SMS.
The offer, which will run from 29 May to 29 June, 2014, has launched as part of the company’s #OoredooSmart campaign.
The International Saver Key enables customers to call 121 countries for just QR0.60 per minute, and discounted rates of just QR0.45 per SMS — one of the best rates in Qatar.
The International Saver Key costs QR1 a week, and can be activated by sending the SMS ‘ISK’ to 121. The key will renew automatically every week so customers can continue to save.
Among the countries covered by the key are popular call destinations such as India, Egypt, Pakistan, the United Kingdom, the Philippines, and South Africa.
Ooredoo’s Mobile Data Packs offer customers a weekly or daily data allowance, which can be used to stay up-to-date with friends and family via social media, video chat, or stream the latest music and downloads.
