Doha: Qatar Petroleum’s Dukhan Operations recently hosted students from IFP School in France as part of their annual technical visit to Qatar.
The students were accompanied by Jean Claude Heidmann, Director, and Isabell Rey Fabret, Associate Professor, both from the school’s Centre for Exploration Production, and Mariam Norcio Recalde, Corporate Social Responsibility Officer, Total E&P Qatar. Ahmad Saif Al Sulaiti, Operations Manager, Dukhan Fields, met Heidmann and Recalde who presented him with a memento from IFP.
Students listened to presentations by officials from QP’s Gas Recycling and Production Departments, followed by visits to two plants. The students’ next stop was the Dukhan Learning Centre, where they toured the processing and instrumentation workshop. After lunch, the group visited the historic Dukhan Well No 1 which many students were keen to see.
