DOHA: Qatar University (QU) has enrolled about 4,000 students in various programmes for the new academic year, which begins next week.
This is the first annual student intake after the University abolished the Foundation Programme last year and made Arabic the medium of instruction in various programmes, according to Al Sharq.
The university will hold an orientation programme for new students and their parents from September 3 until September 13.
