Istidama and Seashore Group signed a memorandum of understanding to support environmental sustainability, effective waste management, and recycling. The agreement signed by Al Maha Al Majid, Chief Executive Officer of Istidama, and Saqer Saeed Al- Mohannadi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Seashore Group, represents a step towards a more sustainable and greener Qatar, as it aims to encompass a mutual desire to promote awareness in the field of environmental sustainability, efficient waste disposal and recycling for a more environmentally- aware society.
Al-Maha Al- Majid said, “The agreement aims to contribute initiatives for the Qatar National Vision, especially intending to balance sustainable development and the environment by promoting and creating awareness of the best sustainable practices.”
Saqer Saeed Al- Mohannadi added, “ We are very happy to sign this partnership with Istidama, uniting the efforts of both companies on promoting and creating awareness on environment-friendly practices to create a better future for everyone.”
The event took place at Barahat Msheireb at Seashore Recycling’s stall made from 100% recyclable materials as a part of the Qatar Sustainability Week 2021, organized by the Qatar Green Building Council.
