ICC holds session on tribute to social reformers

Doha: Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) represented by its Student’s Forum conducted a speech session on tribute to social reformers like Savitri Bai Phule, Baba  Amte, Mother Teressa, Abraham Lincoln, Nelson Mandela, and Maharshi Dondu Keshav Karve.

The event was hosted by Head of Activity Coordinator and Education Kamla Thakur and conducted by Advaita Manikandan Nair.  

Annah  Baburajan from DPS MIS  welcomed the guests and attendees. Aswin K Arunkumar, a student of Ideal Indian School presented a vote of thanks.  

ICC President P N Babu Rajan appreciated the efforts by all and advised students to follow the path highlighted by the great social reformers of India and the world. 

Students were praised for their brilliant speeches and for sharing information.

Among the speakers were Samridhi Panwar, Anum Manjoor, Aryan Divekar, Himani Rao, Nandini Pathak, Syeda Zuha Abdul Kareem, Shaurya Viraj Sing, Muhammed Sinan Khan, Sejal Verma, Meena Mukesh.  

ICC Vice-President Subramanya Hebbagelu, General Secretary Krishna Kumar Bandhakavi and other ICC  committee members also expressed their views and took an active part in successfully conducting the event. 

The evening was attended by students of various Indian schools, teachers, parents, and other prominent members of the community.
