Bhavan’s Public School was awarded second prize in the competitions held among the Indian schools in Doha on “Global Environment Challenges” in commemoration of Qatar National Day celebrations at the Diplomatic Club by the Ministry of Environment. The school organised various competitions and campaigns like seminar presentation on global warming and its effects, poster making, slogan writing competitions, a “Fashion Show on Best Out of waste”, a skit was presented in the morning assembly and pledge taken by all the students and staff on protecting the environment and the Earth. A cycle rally was organised with a motto “Go Green”, “Love Green”, Think Green”, and “Live Green”. The teachers participated in the Awareness March on the culminating day of the celebrations.
