Guardian Wealth Management and Vodafone, in association with Old Mutual, will host the ‘Keys and Gray Desert Classic’ charity golf tournament on Thursday at Doha Golf Club.
The competition, with support from Etihad Airways and Air Energi, will feature a host of famous faces from the world of football, including Alan Shearer, Ruud Gullit, Glenn Hoddle, Kevin Keegan, Andy Cole, Graeme Souness and Roy Hodgson.
A very limited number of tickets are available at QR1,500 for those keen to join their heroes out on the course. These can be purchased from Eventbrite later this week. Alternatively, those who simply want to enjoy the hospitality afterwards, featuring a sit down dinner, question and answer with the legends, entertainment from a comedian and memorabilia auction, can purchase a ticket for QR400. Spouses accompanying partners who have played during the day will enjoy the evening’s entertainment for QR250. These tickets can be purchased from Doha Golf Club and Eventbrite.
David Russell, CEO of Guardian Wealth said: “Andy and Richard hosted this charity event for years in the UK. I am delighted that Guardian and Vodafone have brought it to Middle Eastern shores. The event will feature in a one hour special of the Keys and Gray show on BeIn Sports. We are expecting quite a crowd out on the course. Some of the legends take their golf seriously and a few have become very good players indeed.” All profits will go to the Qatar Diabetes Association and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund.
