The Indonesian Football Association in Qatar (IFQ), in collaboration with Ooredoo as Platinum Sponsor, Indonesian Embassy, PERMIQA, Bank Central Asia and Gulf Exchange, recently organised ‘Ooredoo One Day Fun Football Tournament (Oodfft)’ at the Al Jazeera Academy, Abu Hamour, Doha.
Fiftenn football teams of the Indonesian diaspora from Doha, Al Wakra, Mesaieed, Al Khor and Dukhan participated in the tournament.
The event started at 8am with exercise or ‘Senam Kesegaran Jasmani (SKJ)’ with all participants and followed by opening remarks by Yusuf Suryanegara on behalf of the Indonesian Ambassador. On the sidelines of the tournament there were juggling competition, photo contest with the theme ‘Fun Football’ and drawing and colouring competition held for kids with attractive prizes Apple iPAD mini, tablet PC and other prizes from sponsors.
PERSIQA FC were the winners, IndoQAPCO FC came second and Mesaieed Warrior FC third.
Yudi of PERSIQA FC was the top goal scorer. Joni of PERSIQA FC was judged as the best goal keeper.
Levy of PERSIQA FC was picked as the Best Player and KBRI FC / Indonesian Embassy Football Team got the fair play team awars as none of its players received any yellow card during the match.
