3 Killed, 5 missing in mudslide in Central China

Beijing: A mudslide in central China's Hunan Province killed three people, leaving another 19 injured and five missing, according to local government.

The mudslide happened Saturday afternoon in Zuta Village of Ningxiang County after heavy rain for a long time since Friday.

Search and rescue were underway overnight, state news agency (Xinhua) reported.

More than 260,000 people have been displaced after continuous heavy rain lashed central China's Hunan Province since June 22.
