DOHA: The Qatar Exchange down on Monday 49.32 points or 0.51 percent to 9,618.26 points from the previous closing of 9,667.58 points.
The volume of the shares fell to 6,395,843 from 8,263,161 on Sunday and the value of shares decreased to QR184,705,625.30 from QR313,421,065.09 Sunday.
Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped 0.95 percent to QR167.30, International Islamic Bank lost 0.88 percent to QR56.00, Electricity and Water fell 1.19 percent to QR158.00 and Qatar Navigation down by 1.75 percent to QR78.60.
The Banking and Financial sector index was dropped 0.50 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 0.04 points.
The industrial sector was down 0.48 points while insurance sector fell 1.86 points. (QNA)
