DI’s SPADE welcomes sixth cohort of EMPA students

Doha: Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI) represented by the School of Public Administration and Development Economics (SPADE), welcomed the newly admitted sixth cohort of students for the academic year 2021 – 2022 of the Executive Master of Public Administration Program (EMPA) during a remote orientation meeting. 

In his welcome speech, Dr. Abdelwahab El Affendi, DI Acting President emphasized the value of the Executive Master of Public Administration program; particularly after it has been accredited internationally by ‘NASPAA’.

Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, the Executive Director of Administration and Finance Division welcomed the newly admitted students and congratulated them for joining the Institute, pointing out that The Doha Institute “is not only an educational institution, but an academic society in which diverse cultures and visions converge, and when the values of justice, equality, openness and acceptance have been achieved.”

Dr. Hamed Ali, Dean of SPADE, praised the students for their keenness to research and join the Institute despite the challenges imposed by coronavirus pandemic calling for the use of resources provided by the Institute, through its library and e-portals, partnerships with information source platforms and work on course requirements.
