Doha: As part of the partnership between Medical Services Department (MSD) at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) and Qatar Red Crescent (QRC), a three-day training workshop was held recently for first aid trainers from the Department. The assistant director of the MSD Capt Sabt Al Kuwari, and the QRC Secretary General Saleh bin Ali Al Muhannadi attended the graduation ceremony.
The Captain Sabt Al Kuwari said that the session embodies the importance given by the ministry in developing social, intellectual and human capital in one of the key areas that support humanitarian and social cause. He valued the efforts of the QRC in developing certified trainers in first aid.
The QRC Secretary General Saleh Al Muhannadi praised the ongoing cooperation between the QRC and the Ministry and said that it built on the strategy of the organisation to support the partnership with institutions and individuals to build capabilities to serve the community.
