Sheikh Joaan conveys Emir’s condolences to Saudi Crown Prince

Riyadh/doha: On behalf of the Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, H E Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani visited Riyadh and conveyed condolences following the death of Prince Badr bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Prime Minister, Adviser and Special Envoy to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as to the sons of the late Prince Badr bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and to the royal family.

Sheikh Joaan also conveyed the condolences of the Heir Apparent H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as to the sons of the deceased and to the royal family. 

Earlier, the Emir sent a cable of condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The Heir Apparent H H Sheikh Tamin bin Hamad Al Thani sent a similar cable to King Abdullah. 

The Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani also condoled with King Abdullah over Prince Badr’s death.

 

PM receives message from Kazakhstan  

Doha: The Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani received a message from Kazakhstan Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov on bilateral relations. Kazakhstan Ambassador Azamat Berdibay presented the message to the prime minister.
