DOHA: Disney On Ice Qatar Tour will stage an additional show due to popular demand, organisers Sport and Entertainment Solutions (SES) announced yesterday.
Ali Haidary, Founding CEO of SES, said yesterday he was delighted to announce the eighth and final show on June 13 at 3.30pm. “Following the remarkable response we received from the Qatari community, there was no doubt that we, alongside Feld Entertainment, the producer of Disney On Ice throughout the world, would add another show,” said Haidary. His announcement follows record-breaking sales which have seen over 32,000 tickets sold in just two weeks for seven shows of the 100 Years of Magic extravaganza at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC), from June 13 to 16.
“There is a huge demand for quality family entertainment in Qatar and throughout the Middle East, and this was proven in the rapid response we received in the first week of tickets going on sale,” he added.
“Disney On Ice celebrates 100 Years of Magic is the most popular show ever produced on ice. By adding another performance we are ensuring that the entire community has the opportunity to experience this spectacular and unforgettable event,” he said.
