Heavy rains kill 17 in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: At least 17 people, including seven children, were killed and several others were injured after heavy rains and wind storms hit several cities in Pakistan.

According to Pakistani media sources, many Pakistani cities including Swat, Peshawar, Nowshera, Malakand, Hang LH, Malakand, Shar ceda and Abet-abad were hit by heavy rains and wind storms.

The sources added that storms and rain also caused the uprooting of many trees and billboards in many large cities. (QNA)
