Doha: The Minister of Municipality and Urban Planning H E Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al Thani yesterday honoured five winning schools in the ministry’s recycling programme.
He presented trophies and certificates to participating students.
The Minister also inaugurated an exhibition on the sidelines of the ceremony.
The expo consisted of proposals and creations of students concerned with preserving the environment.
The Minister expressed admiration for the proposals made by students and the ministry’s awareness team and the schools for their cooperation in promoting the idea of recycling and its positive impact on the environment.
