Doha, Qatar: The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense said that its air defenses intercepted 13 ballistic missiles and 17 drones within Kuwaiti airspace since dawn on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
Colonel Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi said that most were intercepted over several residential areas, resulting in debris falling.
"This Iranian criminal aggression resulted in the targeting of civilian and vital facilities, including Kuwait International Airport, leading to the death of an Indian expatriate and injuries to several individuals, in addition to significant material damage," the official said, offering sincere condolences to the family of the deceased.
The official further urged citizens and residents not to approach, photograph, publish, or circulate any images or video clips of the affected sites or shrapnel fall sites and interception operation via social media, to ensure public security and safety.
