Jakarta: Four people were killed after floods and landslides hit Indonesia's West Sumatra province.

Heavy rain that had pounded Lima Puluh Kota district since Thursday caused many areas to be under water as deep as 1.5 meters, the national disaster management agency in Indonesia said.

At least 13 landslides were reported, according to the agency.
