Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) on Monday issued a weather advisory warning of reduced horizontal visibility in some areas during the early hours due to mist and fog formation, particularly as relative humidity continues to rise.

According to the forecast, Tuesday’s weather will start off misty to foggy, gradually becoming hot and relatively humid as the day progresses, with occasional cloud cover expected.

Light to moderate northeasterly to southeasterly winds are forecast both inshore and offshore. Visibility may drop to less than 2 kilometers in some areas overnight due to patchy or dense fog.

The QMD urged residents and motorists to exercise caution, especially during the early morning and nighttime hours, due to the potential hazards caused by low visibility.

Sea conditions are expected to remain slight, with wave heights ranging from 1–2 ft inshore and 1–4 ft offshore.
