BERN: President of the Swiss Confederation Ueli Maurer, met here on Wednesday with HE Dr. Mubaral Bin Kleifeng Al-Hajeri who presented him with his credentials as Qatar's ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Swizerland.
During the credentials presentation ceremony, HE Al-Hajeri conveyed greetings of HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani to the Swiss president and HH's best wishes to the Swiss people for further progress and prosperity.
In turn president Ueli Maurer entrusted HE the Qatari senior diplomat to convey his greetings and appreciation to HH the Emir and the people of Qatar wishing HE Al Hajeri all success in his new post.
Talks during the meeting also dealt with means of bolstering and developing relations between the two countries in the various fields. (QNA)
