Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani exchanged congratulations on the advent of Eid Al Adha in telephone calls with a number of Arab and Islamic countries’ leaders.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani also exchanged cables of greetings on the occasion of Eid Al Adha with leaders of Arab and Islamic countries.
The Emir exchanged greetings with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia, King Mohammed VI of Morocco, the Emir of Kuwait H H Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, and the President of the United Arab Emirates, H H Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The Emir also exchanged greetings with the King of Bahrain H M Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Sudanese President Omar Hassan Ahmed Bashir, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Lebanese Prime Minister Tamam Salam, Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defence Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki.
