Kashmiris work at their flood-damaged house in Srinagar yesterday. According to officials, 281 persons are confirmed dead and another 29 are missing in the worst-ever floods in Jammu and Kashmir witnessed in a century with 200,000 structures damaged including 40,000 completely damaged residential houses.
