RIYADH: Masked men shot dead five people in al-Dalwah town in Saudi Arabia's al-Ahsa district on Monday, Eastern Province Police Spokesman announced.
Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted Tuesday the spokesman as saying "As a group of citizens was leaving a building...three masked men opened fire at them with machine guns and pistols,"
Nine people were also wounded in the attack, the police spokesman said, adding the they were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The spokesman pointed out that the incident was under investigation. (QNA)
