Qatar intercepts 13 missiles, 4 drones in attack

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Defense of Qatar has issued a statement regarding the attacks that occurred from 11:15am this morning, March 5, 2026. 

In a statement, the Ministry said that the country was attacked by several missile attacks including (14) ballistic missiles and (4) drones coming from the Islamic Republic of Iran. 

"Thanks to God, our Armed Forces successfully intercepted (13) missiles, while the last one fell in the territorial waters of State of Qatar," the Ministry said in a statement. 
Four (4) drones were also intercepted successfully without any human casualties.

"The Ministry further emphasizes that Qatar Armed Forces possess full capabilities and resources, with God's will, to safeguard the state's sovereignty and territory, and to respond firmly to any external threat," it said in a statement. 

The Ministry has also urged citizens, residents, and visitors to remain calm, adhere to official instructions issued by the security authorities, avoid rumors, and rely solely on information released through official channels.
