QIBWF to be held on November 11, 12

DOHA: The fourth annual session of the Qatar International Businesswomen Forum-2013 (QIBWF 2013) will be taking place from November 11 to 12 here at St Regis Hotel, a press statement said yesterday. 
 
The QIBWF 2013, organised by the Qatari Businesswomen Association (QBWA) in cooperation with Interactive Business Network, will have its main theme the role of “Arab Businesswomen as Change-Makers”, and will discuss  issues such as developing and harnessing the leadership potential of businesswomen, values of identity and leadership style, removing barriers that prevent women from exercising leadership in business and social activities, growing and funding entrepreneurship and innovation among women, and profiles of women visionaries.

Chrysler rejects Jeep recall for fire risk  

 
WASHINGTON: Chrysler rejected yesterday a US safety agency’s request to recall up to 2.7 million Jeep sport utility vehicles to fix a risk of engine fires that have left dozens dead. The US automaker said it had received a letter from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration requesting it to recall Jeep Grand Cherokees in model years 1993-2004 and the Jeep Liberty from model years 2002-2007.
