Doha: The Ministry of Municipality represented by General Cleanliness Department and in cooperation with the security authorities lifted and removed about 174 tonnes of sand in various regions of the country.
The mass of sand was accumulated as a result of the strong winds that Qatar witnessed recently.
The ministry also announced that the traffic flow has returned to some roads which had partially closed due to the sand.
