Doha: To ensure the smooth academic journey of its students under the high standard health and safety promise, Pakistan International School Qatar (PISQ) has reopened its gates for blended learning.

In compliance with the Ministry of Public Health,  the entire school campus underwent a thorough cleaning in addition to a stringent disinfection process before its reopening.

In order to provide secure environment for the safe return of the students, the teaching faculty along with the administrative staff also went through COVID-19 swabbing tests.

Infrared thermometers capable of measuring the body temperature, safety areas under the watchful eyes of school staff, well equipped isolation room, sanitised classrooms while practicing social distancing are just a few examples of how PISQ Qatar is prepared for the new school year.

Principal of PISQ Nargis Raza Otho urged the students and their parents to adhere to all precautionary measures and PISQ’s proactive safety measures and education guidelines in place at the campus to help families and staff feel comfortable. She ensured that the school is going to take the best possible care of the students and staff’s health.

“We are geared up, as per the instructions of MoPH, to continue teaching our students following the ‘blended learning’ strategy,” she stated. “I ensure that the school is going to take the best possible care of the students and staff’s health in this post-summer-vacation work phase. I thank you for your all-time support and understanding of this situation that has helped us all move on for the good of our children,” she added.

In the wake of the existing contagion, PISQ, like all other schools, had to switch to ‘Blended Learning’ strategy, which is a mix of electronic resources and in-school teaching to instruct and lecture the learners. The school has already been facilitating its students via online teaching to the best of its capacity since March 2020.
