DOHA: The latest technologies and practices in dentistry are being discussed in the first Qatar Orthodontics Congress that began at Ritz-Carlton yesterday.
The four-day conference is organised by the Dentistry Department of Rumailla Hospital, a member of the Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC).
Specialists in orthodontic from the UK, the US, Germany, GCC and Arab countries are attending the conference.
Dr Najat Al Saied, Head of Orthodontics Section at HMC and Chairperson of the conference, said: “The importance of this congress emanates from the fact that it is being held for the first time in the Gulf and the Middle East”.
A medical dentistry and orthodontics exhibition is organised on the sidelines of the congress, showcasing the latest medical equipment.
